What is this shit?
well it's not another attempt to put a name on something so you and your mates music has a different section on website.
As you may or may not know, UK Garage is back (didn't really go away..), it might not say it is but it's back. Bassline, Grime, Dubstep, Funky, 4x4, whateverstep.
This blog is to cover mixes, tracks, interviews, artist profiles, whatever... related the more experimental side of these garage hybrids, specifically the scene growing out of dubstep as people expand their production styles, and DJs start selecting the best of the old skool alongside the best FWD thinking beats.
Why the name? don't know really, was penned by Sub.fm's DJ Whistla and has just kinda stuck with me, it's not really dubstep, but it happily sits within it, but its not all about bass all the time, it's not got that dub techno vibe thats been making everyone go nuts (some in a good way, some in a bad way), but it is garage, and it is pushing shit forward.
Hold tight, hoping for big things for this blog.
